My Story

The practice is privately owned by Chene Joubert and was established in 2016 in Oudtshoorn, Western Cape.
Chené Joubert completed her Ba Human Movement Science degree (Cum Laude) at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) in 2010. She then proceeded to get her Honours degree in Biokinetics the year after and completed her internship in Upington in the year 2011. She started to work for Johannie Spies at Spies Biokinetics in the year 2012 and opened Chené Joubert Biokineticist in Oudtshoorn in the year 2016.

My biokinetic practice is focused on treating orthopeadic conditions, injury prevention and sport-specific conditioning. I also have special interest in treating people with orthopeadic-, neurological- and chronic conditions as well as working with the elderly.

 

My experience and knowledge combined with a curiosity leads me to keep researching the latest discoveries and trends to keep my practice up to date on the most recent rehabilitation techniques and newest technologies, which all contribute towards running a succesful practice.
